Spyros Sipetas is a PhD candidate in Intellectual Property Law at Stockholm University, Greek-qualified lawyer, and Director of Outreach of Fashion Law London. His research focuses on the role of Intellectual Property rights in the fashion industry, in light of sustainability. Prior to pursuing his PhD degree, Spyros completed his undergraduate legal studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as Master (LLM) studies in Industrial Property & Competition Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and in European IP Law at Stockholm University.

His professional experience includes working in an Athens-based law firm and the Hellenic Competition Commission, as well as serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the Stockholm Intellectual Property Law Review. What led him to specialize in IP law was his passion for art and the law, as he views it as a field where the two intersect – much like the vision behind the LAB society.
